San Francisco, California - January 20, 2026 - Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) showcased its latest high-power optical isolators at Photonics West 2026, including iBeam 60 W Compact Dual-Stage Isolator, Dual-Stage In-Line lsolator and 2 kW Fiber Collimator.
The showcased products included:
• iBeam 60 W Compact Dual-Stage Isolator: Compact packaging size, providing > 45 dB high isolation at a typical insertion loss of 0.6 dB
• Dual-Stage In-Line lsolator: Compact TGG based dual-stage isolator with the input and output fibers on the same end. With > 45 dB optical isolation, a typical insertion loss of only 0.8 dB, it optimizes stability and reliability for fiber laser applications
• 2 kW Fiber Collimator: Power handling up to 2 kW with low thermal lensing effect, featuring a lightweight and compact in size, and incorporating an interchangeable lens design
Ahead of the show, AFR was honored with a Bronze Award at the 2025 Laser Focus World Innovators Awards for its PurePath TG-CPS. This marks the fifth time AFR has received this award recognition.
The award-winning PurePath TG-CPS integrates Output Coupler FBG (OC FBG), Raman Scattering Suppressor FBG (RSS FBG), and Cladding Power Stripper (CPS) functions into a single pac kage. Compared to the typical solution with discrete components, it reduces the fiber length and the number of fiber splicing joints in the laser system, which is helpful for improving output laser spectrum and upgrading power output capacity.
