October, 2016 --- Advanced Fiber Resource (AFR)’s CEO, Dr. Xinglong Wang, was invited to attend a fiber optic components seminar at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC). The ORC is one of the world’s leading institutes for photonics research, based at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom.

During the seminar, Dr. Wang spoke on the subject of Fiber Optic Components, and discussed the basic structures, generic optical parameters and the applications of fiber optic components with dozens of fiber laser specialists from the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC). Specialists lauded Dr. Wang’s speech as very attractive and practicable, and will lead to an improved understanding of the internal structures of passive fiber optic components, which can help them better define/design the fiber laser systems in the future.
