Both products are based on thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) technology, featuring baud rates of 96G and 130G, dual-polarization multiplexing, low insertion loss, low modulation loss, in compact OIF-compatible packages, and can be used in DP-QPSK, DP-16-QAM and DP-64-QAM modulation formats, for long-haul, metro and DCI coherent transmissions up to 1600 Gbps.

Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) officially announces volume shipment of AM70 ultra-high-speed TFLN modulators to global customers. AM70 is a single Mach-Zehnder modulator based on thin film lithium niobate (TFLN) technology, featuring a high bandwidth of up to 70 GHz, low insertion loss, low Vπ, and excellent linearity, in a compact package with a G3PO RF connector and DC pins.
