October, 2016 --- Advanced Fiber Resource (AFR)’s CEO, Dr. Xinglong Wang, was invited to attend a fiber optic components seminar at the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC).

Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) released its 1550 nm 20 W Fiber Isolator (PM & SM), which used at the output port of pulsed fiber lasers to prevent any errant beams from returning to the fiber amplifier. This new fiber optic isolator may be used in both common fiber laser applications and ultra-fast lasers with high peak power.

Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) released its Integrated Tap Photodiode Isolator integrates the functionality of a miniature polarization insensitive with a tap photodiode for power monitoring in one package. The product provides a more compact solution in EDFA or other modules where both optical Isolator and monitoring function are needed.

Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) released its Metalized Fiber Cable which available for singlemode, multimode or polarization maintaining fiber. The product special design provides in-house controlled metallization and meets Telcordia requirements.
