Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) is deeply saddened by the loss of our Senior Vice President, Jim (Jinhui) Li, on July 4, 2026, at the age of 58.

Jim dedicated over three decades to advancing optical communications. At AFR, his strategic vision and technical expertise shaped our engineering culture and built lasting industry partnerships. More than a brilliant leader, he was a devoted mentor whose warmth, generosity, and genuine belief in people left a profound mark on the entire AFR family.

Our hearts go out to Jim’s family and loved ones. Rest in peace.
