Job Responsibilities:

1. Local Infrastructure Management (Servers, Network Switches, NAS, Firewalls), monitoring and tuning

2. Monitoring the network in terms of accesses, traffic, performance, security

3. Active Directory/Office 365 Management

4. Local IT Security Management (Anti-Virus and Security Patches)

5. Local & Remote Disaster Recovery Administration

6. Local IT Policies Management

7. Providing first and second Level HelpDesk Support

8. Troubleshoot user issues which includes OS Windows 7/10, Remote Access, computer hardware, printers, barcode device support, mobile devices (Android smartphone/tablet) and VOIP Desk-phones, meeting room equipment

9. Coordinate incident resolution and escalate when required, including vendors for business applications

10. Asset Management & Lifecycle Management

11. Maintain the site inventory containing all IT assets in place, and ensure asset management solution is up to date

12. Purchasing of IT Services, Accessories and peripherals. Purchasing and coordinating computer replacements

13. Liaison with vendors, including providers for maintenance of business applications, Audio Visual, UPS and printers

14. Liaison with vendors on delivering solution to fulfil the business requirements

15. Evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software and support other functions in identifying new SW and tools for different needs, harmonized with local infrastructure

16. Support new machine introduction and proper integration in the local network, interfacing then with Oracle database

17. Support in development and customization of existing SW tools

18. Train employees in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed, as in case of upgrades and general troubleshooting

Job Requirements:

1. Hands on experience with laptops, workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices (Android, iOS)
2. Windows 7/10, Active Directory, Office 365 suite, Client VPN (DirectAccess, FortiClient)
3. Windows Servers (OS Win 2008/2016/2019/Linux), Cisco switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls (Fortigate)
4. Data centre/server room management, and infrastructure troubleshooting
5. VMWare virtualization infrastructure knowledge
6. Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam)
7. Basic knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewalling
8. Knowledge and experience working with various operating systems and backend programming (ex. LabView, Python, Java,…….) is a plus
9. 5 years of relevant experience in similar position will be preferred
10. Requires a high school technical degree
11. Superior problem solving skills are required
12. Attitude to a self learning approach is required
13. Capability to deal with novel technologies
14. Fluent English is preferred
