March 8-10, 2022 --- The world’s largest optical networking and communication event, OFC, was held at the San Diego Convention Center. AFR and its subsidiary, Vlink, showcased a variety of products this year including Lithium Niobate Modulators, LiDAR Modules/Components, Hi-Rel Components and FAUs.
1060 nm / C-Band 10 GHz Phase Modulator
AFR’s 1060 nm / C-Band
10 GHz Phase Modulator combines high linearity with low driving voltage and
small footprint, covering modulation frequency up to 10 GHz.
1550 nm MOPA Light Source
The
compact light source delivers nanosecond pulses at high repetition rates and
high peak power with excellent E/O efficiency. It’s designed for wide temperature
operations for automotive applications (- 40℃ to + 105℃).
Hi-Rel Components
Passing the 8500-meter
hydrostatic press test, AFR’s 72-channel Feedthrough shows great performance in
submarine optical networks. AFR’s Hi-Rel components used in repeaters, such as
Isolator, Gain Flattening Filter and other hybrid components have demonstrated
outstanding reliability of FIT < 0.1 and come with a 25-year lifetime.
Meanwhile, Vlink also presented their signature products during the event including 90° Fiber Array, 400G DR4 Assembly, Multi-Mode Fiber Array and PM Fiber Array, widely used in 40G/100G/400G high-speed/ultra-high-speed optical modules, coherent optical communications and WSS modules.
