Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to
2. Responsible for identifying, raising and tracing to completion quality issues, working with cross-functional teams to identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions
3. Support new product introductions to ensure the robustness of transferred products and processes, verify control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
4. Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators
5. Ensure incoming materials meet required quality standards. Responsible for identifying and raising quality issues, working with suppliers to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, manage the Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
6. Involved in the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks
7. Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management System (TS16949/ISO9001), collaborates in the internal and third part audit activities
8. Promote the usage of continuous improvement tools and statistical analysis (such as Six-Sigma, Lean, Poka-Yoke, Error Proofing, MSA…)
9. Support in the update and maintenance of Product Data Management System, can help in the definition of quality-related Manufacturing working instructions and the operators’ training
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Optics, Electronics, Semiconductors, telecommunication or equivalent technical discipline.
2. 5 years+ of working experience in related industry
3. Knowledge of process/product validation procedures and techniques
4. Knowledge of basic six sigma / lean manufacturing concepts like capability studies and SPC
5. Application of process and product FMEA, problem solving techniques, risk analysis
6. Competent with Microsoft Office applications, Statistical Analysis Tools (Minitab, Statgraphics, …others)
7. Ability to work effectively in an international team environment and interact with all function and levels
8. Fluent in English
