March 8-10, 2022 --- The world’s largest optical networking and communication event, OFC, was held at the San Diego Convention Center. AFR and its subsidiary, Vlink, showcased a variety of products this year including Lithium Niobate Modulators, LiDAR Modules/Components, Hi-Rel Components and FAUs.

1060 nm / C-Band 10 GHz Phase Modulator: AFR’s 1060 nm / C-Band 10 GHz Phase Modulator combines high linearity with low driving voltage and small footprint, covering modulation frequency up to 10 GHz.

1550 nm MOPA Light Source: The compact light source delivers nanosecond pulses at high repetition rates and high peak power with excellent E/O efficiency. It’s designed for wide temperature operations for automotive applications (- 40℃ to + 105℃).

Hi-Rel Components: Passing the 8500-meter hydrostatic press test, AFR’s 72-channel Feedthrough shows great performance in submarine optical networks. AFR’s Hi-Rel components used in repeaters, such as Isolator, Gain Flattening Filter and other hybrid components have demonstrated outstanding reliability of FIT < 0.1 and come with a 25-year lifetime.

Meanwhile, Vlink also presented their signature products during the event including 90° Fiber Array, 400G DR4 Assembly, Multi-Mode Fiber Array and PM Fiber Array, widely used in 40G/100G/400G high-speed/ultra-high-speed optical modules, coherent optical communications and WSS modules.
