January 31-February 2, 2023—SPIE Photonics West 2023 was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. AFR presented numerous state-of-the-art products this year including fiber laser components, lithium niobate modulators as well as LiDAR light source. The debut of AFR’s new products and cutting-edge technologies attracted many visitors and partners.

LiDAR Light Source: The product has excellent E-O efficiency in a compact package. Its pulse width and repetition rate are tunable at high pulse energy and high peak power. AFR also provides customized light source services.

C+L Band 70 GHz Intensity Modulator (AM70): TFLN intensity modulators expand the performance of traditional lithium niobate modulators combining much lower voltage and smaller footprint while extending the bandwidth above 70 GHz.

C+L Band 96 GBaud Coherent Driver Modulator (HB-CDM-96G): Designed for 800 Gb/s/1.2Tb/s coherent optical transport systems and transceivers, with Baud rate over 96G per channel.

C-Band 20 GHz x 2 IQ Modulator (40G-IQ / 40G-IQ-XT): Used in OFDM/QPSK/QAM coding and FMCW LiDAR in autonomous driving. Extended operating temperature at - 55 °C to + 85 °C. (40G-IQ-XT)
