Quality Engineer (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in NPI/APQP; conduct quality assessments, track issues, and prepare PPAP for new projects.

  2. Handle incoming quality issues; issue SCARs, verify supplier corrections, and evaluate supplier performance (lot rate, PPM).

  3. Lead production quality investigations using 5Why/Fishbone; develop CAPA and track to closure.

  4. Monitor Cp/Cpk; conduct MSA to ensure measurement reliability.

  5. Contribute to PFMEA and Control Plan updates.

  6. Support change management and verify implementation.

  7. Collaborate with production/process teams to improve efficiency and FPY.

  8. Lead customer audit preparation, accompany audits, and drive corrective actions.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s in Engineering/Quality or related.

Test Technician (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Production line and line exception handling:

    Follow up the performance testing of optical modules, optical modulators, tunable lasers, detectors, fiber optic components and other optical devices (such as insertion loss, return loss, eye diagram, bit error rate, bandwidth, wavelength stability testing, real-time monitoring of production line test status

    Quickly respond to sudden test abnormalities, equipment errors, data anomalies and other issues in the production line

    Report abnormal problems in the testing process in a timely manner, and cooperate to complete basic work such as yield statistics and test data summary.

  2. Analysis and processing of defective products:

    Responsible for the preliminary screening, retesting, and problem classification of defective products tested on the production line, and accurately recording information such as defective phenomena, defective proportions, and test data

    Assist engineers to conduct root cause analysis of defective products, implement temporary improvement measures, and follow up on closed-loop processing such as rework, retesting, and scrapping of defective products.

  3. Test bench construction and debugging:

    Assist test engineers to complete the construction, wiring, equipment debugging, parameter calibration and functional verification of new products and new process test benches

    Responsible for the daily maintenance, spot inspection, and troubleshooting of mass production test stations to ensure the accuracy and stability of the test bench.

  4. Process implementation and assistance optimization:

    Strictly implement the company's test operation standards and quality control requirements, cooperate with engineers to optimize the test process, improve test abnormalities, and assist in completing production line test-related training and on-site implementation work.

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational background and major:

    College degree or above, majoring in optical engineering, optoelectronics technology, physical electronics, communication engineering and other related majors.  

  2. Skills and experience:

    More than 1 year of testing experience in the optical communications industry, familiar with optical modules (such as QSFP-DD, OSFP), optical modulators (such as silicon photonic integrated transceiver modulator) or optical fiber sensing product testing processes. 

    Familiar with the basic operation and maintenance of commonly used test equipment (OSA, BERT bit error meter, oscilloscope, VNC), and have basic production line abnormality troubleshooting capabilities

  3. Priority conditions:

    Familiar with the production line and line operation processes, able to quickly adapt to the mass production rhythm, and efficiently handle various testing emergencies on the production line.

    Work conscientiously and meticulously, have strong execution ability, obey work arrangements, and have good on-site adaptability and teamwork ability.

    Applicants with experience in optical device testing, PAM4 modulation type high-speed (400G/800G) optical module products, and optical modulator products are preferred.

  4. Soft skills:

    Have certain independent problem analysis and solving abilities.

    Proficient in using excel and capable of data summary and analysis

Test Engineer (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Optical device testing and verification:

    Responsible for the performance testing (such as insertion loss, return loss, eye diagram, bit error rate, bandwidth, wavelength stability) of optical modules, optical modulators, tunable lasers, detectors, fiber optic components and other optical devices.

    Improvement of test yield.

  2. Test plan design and optimization:

    Design test plans based on product requirements, formulate test cases and standardized processes (such as TIA-492, IEEE 802.3 standards).

    Develop automated test scripts (Python/LabVIEW) to improve testing efficiency and data accuracy.

  3. Problem diagnosis and improvement:

    Analyze test data to locate the cause of optical device failure.

    Collaborate with the R&D team to optimize product design and propose process improvement suggestions.

  4. Test system construction and maintenance:

    Build optical test platform, calibrate test equipment and write operating specifications.

    Maintain test environment and ensure equipment complies with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standards.

  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    Test report CPK summary, writing technical documents and failure analysis reports.

    Support technical communication with customers and provide test data and compliance certification documents.

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational background and major:

    Bachelor degree or above, major in optical engineering, optoelectronics technology, physical electronics, communication engineering and other related majors.  

  2. Skills and experience:

    More than 3 years of testing experience in the optical communications industry, familiar with optical modules (such as QSFP-DD, OSFP), optical modulators (such as silicon photonic integrated transceiver modulator) or optical fiber sensing product testing processes. Experience in PAM4 modulation type high-speed (400G/800G) optical module products, and a deep understanding of the principles of optical modules are preferred. 

    Proficient in optical test equipment (OSA, BERT bit error meter, oscilloscope, VNA) and data analysis tools (MATLAB).  

    Familiar with optical communication protocols and standards (such as ITU-T G.652/G.654, IEEE 802.3ba/bs).  

    Have automated test development capabilities (Python/LabVIEW/C#), and be familiar with GPIB/LXI communication protocols.  

  3. Priority conditions:

    Familiar with high-speed optical device testing (100G/400G/800G PAM4 modulation technology), optical debugger (QPSK, 16QAM modulation technology).  

    Understand the packaging process and failure mechanism of optical chips (such as silicon photonic chips, InP lasers).  

    Candidates with experience in testing optical communication systems (5G fronthaul, data center interconnection) will be given priority.  

  4. Soft skills:

    Clear logic and ability to independently analyze and solve problems.  

    Good cross-department collaboration and communication skills.

MPO Engineer (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Mass production process control and optimization:

    Responsible for the full process control of MPO/MTP/MMC/EBO fiber optic connectors and jumpers. Optimize process parameters and improve yield. 

  2. New product introduction and trial production project implementation:

    Connect R&D, business and customer needs, and undertake MPO/MTP/MMC/EBO process review, sample trial production, and small batch trial production work.

  3. Quality abnormality analysis and closed-loop rectification:

    Responsible for following up on issues such as abnormal quality during mass production, defective production lines, customer returns, and unqualified third-party testing.

  4. Construction and maintenance of process standardization system:

    Sort out the entire MPO production process, prepare, revise, and update technical information such as SOP operating instructions, process parameter specifications, product inspection standards, and process control documents.

  5. Equipment, data and mass production technical support:

    Proficient in operating a full set of production and testing equipment such as optical fiber insertion and return loss testers, end-face interferometers, high-definition end-face detectors, precision grinders, and constant temperature curing ovens. Responsible for daily equipment inspections, parameter calibration, simple troubleshooting, and maintenance docking.

Job Requirements:

  1. Educational major: College degree or above, optoelectronic information engineering, electronic information, communication engineering, optics and other related majors. Candidates with excellent experience can relax the academic requirements.

  2. Work experience: 3 years or more of relevant work experience in MPO/MTP/MMC/EBOP connector process technology in the optical communications industry.

  3. Professional ability:

    Proficient in the entire MPO production process, familiar with the core process principles and parameter logic of fiber threading, curing, grinding, and detection, and proficient in the analysis and improvement methods of various process defects;

    Familiar with optical communication industry standards such as IEC and Telcordia, and master the performance index requirements of MPO/MTP/MMC/EBO products (insertion loss, return loss, end face parameters, eccentricity, etc.);

    Proficient in using various types of optical communication testing equipment, able to independently complete process debugging, defect analysis, and parameter optimization; proficient in writing process technical documents such as SOP, trial production report, 8D rectification report, and capable of independent project follow-up.

Process Technician (Coupling) (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for the manual/automatic coupling alignment, optical path debugging, optical fiber assembly, UV dispensing, curing and shaping and other process debugging of optical modules, optical fiber components, lenses, wavelength division devices and other products. 

  2. Proficient in using automatic coupling machines, optical power meters, light sources, end-face detectors, microscopes and other equipment to complete product coupling debugging, parameter matching, performance testing, and ensure that product insertion loss, return loss and other indicators meet specifications.

  3. Cooperate with R&D and process engineers to complete new product samples, small batch trial production, and process verification.

  4. Be proficient in the basic judgment and simple repair operations of common defects in the production line coupling process (large losses, misalignment, debonding, defective end faces, etc.), and cooperate to complete the production line yield improvement work.

Job Requirements:

  1. College degree is acceptable, no major restriction is required, majors in optoelectronic information, electronics, and mechatronics are preferred.

  2. Two years of experience in optical communication coupling, optical device packaging, dispensing, optical debugging, and precision assembly.

  3. Strong hands-on ability, able to adapt to the operation of precision optical devices, work carefully, steadily and obey the workshop production arrangements.

  4. Have basic data recording and problem feedback capabilities, good sense of teamwork, and strong execution ability.

Process Engineer (Coupling) (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Coupling process development and implementation:

    Responsible for the design, feasibility assessment and verification of manual/automatic coupling process solutions for optical components such as optical chips, fiber arrays, lenses, and wavelength division devices, and adapt to the needs of high-speed optical modules, silicon optical devices, passive couplers and other products.

  2. New product trial production and project follow-up:

  3. Mass production process optimization and yield improvement:

Job Requirements:

  1. Professional qualifications:

    College degree or above, majoring in optoelectronic information engineering, optoelectronic technology, communication engineering, electronic information, precision instruments, physical electronics and other related majors, bachelor degree or above is preferred.

  2. Work experience:

    More than 3 years of experience in optical module/silicon optical device/passive coupler coupling process development and mass production optimization. Applicants with experience in high-speed optical devices and fiber array coupling projects are preferred.

  3. Professional skills:

    Proficient in the basic principles of optical coupling, and familiar with core processes such as optical device packaging, coupling alignment, dispensing and curing, fiber splicing, and end-face processing;

PCB Engineer (Hardware) (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for PCB layout design of optical communication related products.

  2. Independently complete the full-process layout of multi-layer high-speed boards (8–16 layers) and HDI PCBs, including stack-up planning, impedance design, component placement & routing, DFM/DFT verification, and Gerber file generation.

Job Requirements:

Optical Engineer (Wuhan, Hubei, China)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Proficient in using simulation tools such as Zemax to design and simulate various optical coupling structures, including but not limited to facet coupling, grating couplers, edge couplers, evanescent wave couplers, and free-space coupling systems.

  2. Setup various Complex Optical Test Benches, Precisely measure and characterize key performance metrics of couplers, including insertion loss, return loss, bandwidth, alignment tolerance and alignment sensitivity.

  3. Analyze experimental data to identify root causes of low coupling efficiency, and propose corresponding solutions for performance optimization.

  4. Work closely with chip design, packaging, electronics and software teams to integrate optical coupling solutions into complete system-level products.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Optics or related majors.

  2. Over 5 years of working experience in relevant fields; in-depth understanding of electromagnetic wave theory, waveguide optics, diffractive optics and micro-nano photonics with abundant hands-on experience.

  3. Proficient in one or more optical simulation software tools such as Zemax.

  4. Hands-on experience in precision optical experiments including optical packaging, active alignment and passive alignment technologies.

  5. Extensive experience in building complex optical test setups (utilizing lasers, polarization controllers, spectrometers, photodetectors, fiber arrays, etc.) and automated data acquisition via LabVIEW, Python and other tools.

  6. Strong data analysis capabilities; skilled in scientific computation and data visualization with Python, MATLAB or equivalent software.

  7. Prior experience in high-density fiber array coupling for Co-packaged Optics (CPO) is preferred.

  8. Good English communication skills are preferred.
