Job Responsibilities:

1. Must define, meet and improve product performances, quality and cost targets. His work environment is within operation team, with possible interactions with contract manufacturers located abroad 

2. Control new product introduction from design to manufacturing, acting as technical interface between the product. development team and production, coordinating with Design Authorities to define production test specifications and SPC parameters selection 

3. Support new components design and feasibility steps 

4. Monitor and control products’ performances in general availability phase, at both chip level and module level, interacting with contract manufacturer team 

5. Work with team to define, develop and deploy the process flows and tools suitable to realize a cost effective and manufacturable product 

6. Responsible for product cost monitoring and cost reduction roadmap 

7. Work to improve the product quality and secure the product reliability by balancing cost of test and test coverage that could impact the production fall-off 

8. Work cross-functionally to develop ideas for new products, processes, components 

9. Able to define project plans, identify and take the necessary actions to complete own and project tasks.

10. Ability to effectively manage project teams and resources (for senior level and above) 

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Optics, Electronics, Semiconductors, telecommunication or equivalent technical discipline 

2. 5 years+ of working experience in related industry 

3. Optical devices and design competences could be preferred 

4. Knowledge of process/product validation procedures and techniques 

5. Knowledge of basic six sigma / lean manufacturing concepts like capability studies and SPC 

6. Application of process and product FMEA, problem solving techniques, risk analysis 

7. Competent with Microsoft Office applications and statistical tools 

8. Knowledge of Labview is a plus 

9. Ability to work effectively in an international team environment and interact with all function and levels 

10. Fluent in English
